It has been a night to remember for 3t EnerMech at the prestigious Engineering Construction Industry Training and Development Awards 2023.
At the ceremony, which took place at the Cutty Sark in London, the firm picked up the coveted ‘ECITB International Training Provider of the Year 2023 Award’.
3t EnerMech also collected the ‘Regional Winner for East Africa and the Rest of the World’ gong – it was announced last month that the training provider had won the prize for the second year in a row.
Organised by the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB), the awards celebrate and honour the brightest and best in the sector.
The judging panel take into account a number of factors when deciding on a winner.
As well as the number of people trained and the quality of training, they also consider equality and diversity, innovation and ambition, interaction with the ECITB and generally adding value within markets. 3t EnerMech was held up as an exemplar and the best overall internationally.
The company was established in 2021 as a joint venture between integrated solutions specialist provider EnerMech and 3t (Formerly 3t Energy Group), the leading provider of high-impact training and learning solutions to safety-critical industries The partnership delivers world-leading training and competency solutions encompassing a blend of traditional training, digital learning technologies and training compliance management platforms.
3t EnerMech has already established itself as a global player having become the only ECITB-approved training provider in Angola and Guyana. With its training centre of excellence set up in Georgetown (Guyana), the team is working closely with UK and national governments and other stakeholders to provide industry-approved safety and competency training requirements to East Africa’s growing offshore workforce, and has plans to extend these capabilities into other emerging regional industries.
